Personal and commercial websites are welcome - but please note that
due to language constraints it is only possible to review sites in English or German language. Also the applicant has to be the webmaster of the site and must at least be 18 years or older
Applications from sites with racist, violence, illegal, offensive or pornographic content are not accepted, like sites displaying material not suitable for the viewing by minors Sites requiring plug in features will be excluded Sites displaying "Under Construction" signs will likewise be excluded
Content is very important. Your site should have a main topic and cover as wide as possible information regarding this topic
The content of the site should be original (not simply copied from another site or book, etc.) and well structured (i.e. there should be a "system" in the site)
The design of your site should be something special. There are so many sites that look alike, try to find your own way. Sites which display individuality with a little of the webmaster's soul will be very much appreciated by the evaluator
Consistency in design throughout your site is a must
All internal links have to be functional and at least 90% of all external links should be functional Where it is necessary to visit an external link, it should open in a new window. Especially pages using frames should ensure that this feature is present
